J. Onderweg naar Sydney in Australie! Een hele lange reis, maar we vertrouwen erop dat het de moeite waard is, zeker omdat we na de eerste week IDRC/WMDA congres nog drie weken gaan rondreizen in New South Wales. Na ruim 12 uur is de eerste stop Changi Airport in Singapore. Niet de slechtste plaats voor een overstap, even de beentjes strekken, iets eten en drinken, en dan – nog een goede 8 uur vliegen naar Sydney!
On our way to a conference in Sydney, Australia! A long way to travel, but we think it will be worth it, especially because we planned a three week trip in New South Wales after the IDRC meeting. After a good 12 hours is our first stop Changi Airport Singapore. It is not the worst place to change flights, nice to walk a bit, with the knowledge of another 8-hour leg to Sydney!
In Sydney hebben we een kamer geboekt in het Pension Boutique Hotel Sydney, aan de rand van China Town en op loopafstand van de congres locatie. Het is een al wat ouder hotel, veel gangetjes, een doolhof. De kamer is klein maar compleet, en we gaan snel naar bed….
In Sydney we have booked a room in the Pension Boutique Hotel Sydney, near China Town, and within walking distance of the congress venue. It is not a brand new hotel, lots of steps, little corridors, like a maze! The room is small but complete, and we are quick of to bed….
