AM Capri, island in the sun, is a perfect spot for a short trip. Although it is a small island, you will never get bored. Watching the visitors and luxurious yachts, window shopping, and experiencing the smells of the trees, flowers and fruit, it is all very pleasant. And: there is no traffic in Capri, other than these small electric carts. Between Capri and Anacapri you can take a bus, (the only real road on the island), and there are numerous paths to walk, hike and explore the island, harbour and beaches. We stayed in a simple hotel (recommended by a friend), near the House Carthusia, the perfume factory of Capri. Ever since that time I wear the smell of Capri.
You haven’t experienced Capri without eating a real Insalata Caprese, and a Pizza Caprese. We enjoyed the Capri kitchen on the terrace of Edode, where we loved the music. It sounded familiar, but we had no idea of the artists. So we asked the waiter. Not much later he came back with a CD with ‘Music of Edode’ and gave it to us.
