AM When we are all awake and dressed, we start packing the car, check out and look for breakfast. We find a nice family restaurant with a free table, and enjoy a breakfast with French toast, pancakes and sausages. Since it is too early to go to move into our Radium Vacation Condo, we travel in the direction of Invermere where we wander around a bit. It is larger than Radium, but we are not really impressed. Back to Radium where we enjoy coffee and lunch (delicious wraps with tuna salad) at the Big Horn Cafe, and study tourist information leaflets. The next stop is the local supermarket where we buy provisions for the upcoming days. Round 3 p.m. we arrive (again!) at the cottage. This time, J. takes a look before we join him. The house is clean, there are no other folks, and on the table is a bottle of wine welcoming us! We drag all the stuff upstairs and feel immediately at home in this luxurious apartment with two bath rooms and a mouth watering stock of DVD’s…
Als iedereen wakker is en aangekleed gaan we de auto weer inpakken en op zoek naar ontbijt. We vinden een family restaurant met plek. Na het ontbijt (met French Toast, Pancakes, Sausages) gaan we richting Invermere, waar we wat rond wandelen. Niet heel erg onder de indruk, maar wel een stuk groter dan Radium. Het is regenachtig. In het Big Horn Cafe in Radium gaan we koffie drinken, foldertjes bestuderen en uiteindelijk ook lunchen (heerlijke wraps met tuna salad!). Dan gaan we naar de lokale supermarkt om proviand in te slaan en tegen 3 uur (weer!) richting Radium Vacation Condo in Stanley Street; deze keer gaat J. alleen poolshoogte nemen: alles is schoon, er zijn geen mensen en er staat een fles wijn op tafel bij wijze van welkom! Dus sjouwen we alles naar boven, en nemen onze intrek in het luxe huisje, van alle gemakken voorzien (twee badkamers) en een voorraad DVD’s om van te watertanden.
