AM It’s Summer in Pittsburgh, and we love it! After our arrival, we immediately sat down in the garden on the newly arrived patio-set of the S. Mansion! Dinner at the new outside dinner table! Today we visited the Cathedral of Learning and had a beautiful view from the 36th floor! After that, we visited the Phipps Conservatory. It is bloody hot, so we decide to return to the S. Mansion and sit in the backyard on the deck until D. arrives. There’s work to be done….Wedding preparations are in progress!
Het is zomer in Pittsburgh! Na onze aankomst meteen neergestreken in de tuin, op de zojuist gearriveerde patio-set van de S. Mansion. Heerlijk buiten gegeten. Vanmorgen naar Oakland, waar we de Cathedral of Learning (Pitt University) hebben bezocht, mooi uitzicht vanaf de 36e verdieping, en daarna een wandeling naar de Phipps Conservatory. Het is zo warm dat we besluiten om terug te gaan naar S. Mansion, en lekker in de tuin gaan zitten tot D. thuiskomt. Dan moet er gewerkt worden… de voorbereidingen voor de bruiloft zijn nog in volle gang!
